Gambrinus Restaurant in Siete Aguas
won the IV Certamen of
Valencian Traditional Cuisine.


Gambrinus Restaurant in Siete Aguas won the IV Certamen de Cocina Antigua Valenciana, which comprehend XIX and XX centuries and it's objective it's to impulse the investigation about traditional receipes of the gastronomy in the Comunidad Valenciana. Gambrinus owners, Salvador Esteve and Teresa Carrascosa, took part with two dishes: first one made of cuttlefish and meatballs and the second one based on a valencian "cocido". It was their second reward on this contest, which gives to the winner three thousand euros. Very well, considering that it was also their second enrolment on the contest.

The registering it's free and the jury it's formed by authoritative people in-crowded on gastronomy, culture and social. They choose the winner dish considering the taste, artisitic and presentation qualities of the product, as well as the effort of recovering the receipe. Eleven finalists challenged from the whole Comunidad Valenciana.
